What Are Pediatric Eye Exams?
Our pediatric eye exams are similar to our regular comprehensive eye exams but are tailored towards the specific needs of younger patients. Our friendly optometrists use kid-friendly language and pay extra attention to conditions and issues that are more common in children. Kids’ eyes are constantly growing and changing, so we’ll monitor their development between visits to make sure they’re developing properly and that their vision stays clear.
Why Are Pediatric Eye Exams Important?
So much of your child’s ability to learn depends on the strength of their visual skills, such as their ability to focus in a classroom or see their assignments. It can also be difficult for children to socialize and participate in after-school activities and sports if they have trouble seeing distant objects or struggle with their eye movements.
