Education & Experience

A recent high-honors graduate of Indiana University’s School of Optometry, he provides general eye care with a focus on ocular disease and contact lenses. He earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Butler University, where he earned a 4.0 grade point average. He completed internships at The Villages VA near Orlando, the Cornea and Contact Lens Institute of Minnesota in Edina and Eye Surgeons of Indiana in Muncie.

Get to know Dr. Nick Bantz

A native of Muncie, he graduated valedictorian from Delta High School where he played tennis, baseball, and basketball. He was involved in VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) while at IU and traveled to Jamaica to provide eye care services to children. He hopes to continue involvement in VOSH and other mission trips during his career.

Outside of optometry, he enjoys staying active with running, hiking, golf, tennis and pickleball. He is an avid sports fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Indianapolis Colts, Indianapolis Pacers, Butler Bulldogs and Indiana Hoosiers. He also surrounds himself with friends and family, keeps active and explores restaurants and breweries in the Indianapolis area.
